1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and business name.
• Business profile: Your Google Place ID, custom message template, and WhatsApp session status.
• Customer data you enter: Customer names and WhatsApp phone numbers that you submit when sending review requests. You are responsible for having the right to contact these individuals.
• Request logs: Records of review requests sent, including delivery status and timestamps.
• Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details on our servers.
• Usage data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the ReviewKing service.
• To send WhatsApp review request messages on your behalf to your customers.
• To process subscription payments and manage your billing history.
• To send you transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, important notices).
• To improve the reliability, security, and performance of the platform.
• To respond to your support enquiries.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your customers' data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. WhatsApp Integration

ReviewKing uses a WhatsApp gateway to deliver messages on your behalf. When you link your WhatsApp device:

• Your WhatsApp session credentials are stored securely and used only to send messages you initiate.
• Customer phone numbers you enter are transmitted to the WhatsApp gateway solely to deliver the review request message.
• We do not use customer phone numbers for any purpose other than delivering your requested message.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the WhatsApp messaging feature complies with WhatsApp's Terms of Service and applicable laws, including obtaining any necessary consent from recipients.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase and hosted in compliance with industry-standard security practices. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely immune to security risks.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes. Request logs may be retained in anonymised form for analytics.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Razorpay — payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• WhatsApp gateway — message delivery. Messages are sent using your linked WhatsApp number.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export your request logs from the dashboard.

8. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your authentication state. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

ReviewKing is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the dashboard. Continued use of the service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
